Whether it is a medical application, industrialapplication or a marine application, computers are used to solve complexproblems in an efficient manner in a short time. Since there are manyengineering tasks necessary to keep a ship running, Marine engineering,like other technical disciplines, has become highly automated and relianton computers.
Computer technology is now available to help marine engineers at sea, sotoday’s marine training must include a good foundation in computer skills. MANET prepare students for the increasing usage of computer systemsaboard merchant vessels, the institute offers several computer skillscourses focusing on computer-aided drafting and data acquisition andanalysis.
Lab Facilities-
A modern computer laboratory equipped with high performance servers isavailable in the campus. A wealth of software and several operatingsystem platforms provide extensive opportunities and capabilities forinfo-tech training as well as the use of modern teaching methods likesimulation and computer-based instruction.

6. Total 50 PCs (CORE i5) with 8 GB RAM (B. Tech Computer Lab).
