TEACHING PEDAGOGY

MANET Pune focuses on practical training for both, B. Tech (Marine Engineering) and B.Sc. (Nautical Science) courses. The curriculum is constantly updated as per the evolving needs of the shipping industry so that our cadets are well-equipped to handle all the challenges on the job. The presence of a ship-in-campus gives our students the edge as they get a clear understanding of real ship equipment through the various laboratory lessons. The simulators and computer lessons prepare cadets for a great career on the ship, with minimum learning time required on the job.

We also conduct regular faculty trainings to help our teachers and professors deliver impactful lessons to the cadets. After completing B. Tech or B.Sc. at MANET Pune, cadets are capable to think logically to solve technical troubles on the ship and carry out multiple duties during their employment onboard.

Our curriculum also focuses on character building of cadets which prepares them for future professional activities onboard a vessel or a water transport company.
