The Engine room simulator is designed to demonstrate, trouble shootgeneric Slow speed Reversible Diesel Engine Start System and numerousother auxiliary systems. The design incorporates all the machineries onboard any Tanker ship and is very user friendly. The simulator is helping outcadets to easily understand complex systems. Various types of defects thatusually come on running machinery can be easily simulated. The simulatorhas induced lot of confidence in the cadets to handle and work on lot of newmachineries found on Tanker ships.
